SNIDO welcomes Luís Gonçalves back to the Team! We are fortunate to have him back on board, and we can't wait to see the positive impact his expertise and commitment will bring again. 

The year began with the trip by members of the Wireless Project to the wizMart factory in Ningbo, where they had the opportunity to learn about the production process and agree on procedures for managing the projects that Snido is developing.

SNIDO has partnered once again with wizMart to exhibit at Firex, in Excel, London, from 16th to 18th of May. 

Martin O’Donnell, our Operations Manager, was representing us again, and was joined by the wizMart team, to combine efforts to showcase the latest innovations from both companies to possible future customers.

Snido & wizMart are delighted to announce that we have completed EN54 parts 2 and 4 certification for our UNO addressable and conventional control panels along with our EN54 part 4 certified Power supply unit.

The whole team is to be congratulated and we look forward to achieving many more successes on our path!

SNIDO welcomes two new team members, João Parente Silva and Nelson Cavaco, both having excellent backgrounds in University and post University projects. We’re happy to have them on board and we can’t wait to help them reach new heights. 

SNIDO is always working to build a strong, passionate and communicative team, and we believe that they will fit right in!

At the end of August, SNIDO employees had the opportunity to enjoy a few days of leisure in Italy. A break in our routine that allowed us to deepen relationships and strengthen bonds of friendship.

We visited Padua, Verona and the unforgettable Venice, where the weather was inviting for a lot of walks and relaxed moments. An experience that we will always remember, with genuinely special moments that will remain in all of us!

Located in one of the most promising markets in South East Asia, Secutech Vietnam opened its doors from 18 – 20 August at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center with over 250 exhibitors participating.

The exhibition outperformed all of our expectations, with 3 full days of quality exhibitions and with visitors from both Government and high profile organizations.

SNIDO and wizMart were jointly represented at Firex 2022 by Martin O’Donnell, due to the ongoing difficult situation with Covid our partners were unable to travel.

During the exhibition Martin met some of wizMart’s long-term customers along with a number of prospective future customers interested… 

Intersec Dubai, one of the world’s largest fire, security and safety conferences, returned this year from Sunday 16th January to Tuesday 18th January 2022. While attendance numbers were predictably lower compared to previous years due to Covid-19, there was an interesting mix of visitors who called to the stand from countries including Jordan, India, Iraq, Turkey, Senegal and Iran...

Having been audited in May 2021, SNIDO received its ISO 9001:2015 certificate, granted by the notorious Certification Body Bureau Veritas.

The whole team is to be congratulated, for having contributed to ensure the maintenance of our Quality Management System in all the projects we develop and as part of our processes.

New office space: A large working space in Gambelas, in the University of Algarve, for team meetings will facilitate closer communications between teams as the various components of projects come together. 

Intersec Dubai: Present again in this year’s exhibition, SNIDO team members could witness there was a high level of interest in both our and WizMart products. Again, many different companies were present and visited our joint stand! 

Microchip Visit: Rogério and Jose-Vincente from Microchip came to visit and gave a very interesting presentation reviewing their products, several of which SNIDO is already working with, along with products which will be of use in the future.  

We partnered with Wizmart to exhibit at Firex 2019 in London. This was an opportunity to catch up with potential and existing Wizmart customers from a variety of countries including the UK, Ireland, South Africa, India, Norway, Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Eastern Europe amongst others. Although not as busy as the exhibition in Dubai, Firex remains an important meeting place! 

SNIDO attended Intersec 2019, in Dubai. This is the largest fire and security exhibition in the Middle East and due to its central location, is attended by prospective customers from many countries. We met with representatives of approximately 90 companies from 20 different countries!
