Electronics Engineer/ Low Power Wireless Communication Systems

FULL-TIME

SNIDO is a young technology company that designs and develops products for fire detection and alarm systems. We have a vision to move forward in the Life Safety sector and to include smart home connectivity in our products.

We are seeking an Engineer to join our product development team based in Faro, Portugal.

 

Functions:

Firmware and Hardware development of low power RF communication modules for wireless fire detection systems and Internet of Things.

 

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in C/C++

Experience in firmware development for microcontrollers

Experience in low power wireless protocols for IoT (Zigbee, Thread, Bluetooth, Lora …)

Experience in embedded system protocols (UART/SPI/I2C, ...)

Knowledge in electronics

Knowledge in radio frequency

Fluent in English and Portuguese

 

Preferred:

Master's or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering

IoT device experience

Experience with RTOS

Knowledge of version control systems (SVN, GIT)

Ability to set and achieve accurate deadlines

It's necessary regular attendance to our offices to meet with colleagues to ensure cohesive working, but in some days the work can be remote
