Snido collaboration with CRIA
With the support of CRIA, the Division of Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer at the University of Algarve, Snido has recently set up an R&D office within the University of Algarve. “This location will provide us with access to a wealth of expertise and knowledge within the university. We are very grateful to CRIA for assisting us with this space that we believe will contribute to developing and growing our business” said Miguel Sousa, CEO, Snido.
Over the last number of months, Snido has hired highly-skilled engineers who are all graduates from the University of Algarve. Snido looks forward to continued collaboration with the University and the benefits that it will bring to being on site and close to local talent.
CRIA was set up in 2003 with the aim of getting advanced business ideas and inventions, created and developed at the university, to market by assisting with university and industry relationships, increasing technology and knowledge transfer, supporting the establishment of new business, generalising the use of industrial property rights mechanisms and developing technological infrastructures to enhance specific research fields in the Algarve region.
